About Atlas
Based in Bentley, Alberta, Atlas is a family-owned and operated livestock marketing and sale management company led by Cody Coupland. With years of hands-on experience in the cattle industry, our team understands that every operation is different. Our goal is to provide the level of service that best fits each producer, whether that means full sale management, marketing support, or order buying, which of course comes with no cost to the buyer.
Cody’s experience in the livestock industry has taken him from working alongside purebred cattle producers, to operating a cattle hauling business specializing in the transportation of purebred cattle across Canada and into the United States where he learned first hand the hard work and decication the producers put into their cattle. He later spent five years with Transcon Livestock, where he gained extensive experience in cattle marketing, promotion, sale management, and working directly with both buyers and sellers.
Those experiences have helped build a strong network of relationships throughout the purebred and commercial cattle industries—relationships that are at the heart of Atlas.
At Atlas, we understand that marketing cattle is about more than simply putting a sale together. It is about understanding the cattle, understanding the producer’s goals, finding the right buyers, and creating a marketing plan that delivers results.
Our team brings experience, energy, and a genuine passion for the livestock industry to every project we take on. We are proud to work alongside producers and help showcase their cattle to their full potential.
