Our Team

Meet the people behind Atlas Livestock Marketing, dedicated to serving producers with integrity, industry experience and personalized service.

Raised in Forestburg, Alberta, Cody Coupland grew up on a small commercial cattle farm where his passion for the livestock industry began. Through years in 4-H and working alongside a respected purebred Charolais operation, he developed an appreciation for the hard work, dedication, and relationships that define the cattle business.

After spending 14 years in the oil and gas industry, Cody returned to his roots by launching a cattle hauling business specializing in the transportation of purebred livestock. His business served producers across Canada while also importing and exporting cattle between Canada and the United States. During that time, he built lasting relationships with both purebred and commercial cattle producers on both sides of the border and gained a firsthand understanding of the dedication required to produce quality livestock.

In 2021, Cody joined Transcon Livestock, where he spent five years developing extensive experience in livestock marketing, sale management, and promotion. Working alongside respected breeders strengthened both his industry knowledge and the network of relationships he now brings to every client.

In July 2026, Cody founded Atlas Livestock Marketing with one goal. To provide honest, professional, and personalized marketing services for cattle producers. Today, Atlas continues to grow while staying true to the values it was founded on: integrity, hard work, and lasting relationships.

Based in Bentley, Alberta, Cody and his wife, Melissa, are raising their two sons, Carter and Kade. As a family owned business, Atlas Livestock Marketing is proud to serve producers across Canada and help them market their programs with confidence.

Glenn was raised on a family farm with a deep passion for Simmental cattle. As the second-generation owner of Norton Simmentals (CSA #4974), he operated a respected purebred Simmental program for more than 25 years with his father, Neil. During that time, Glenn exhibited cattle at Farmfair International and Canadian Western Agribition, earning numerous champion titles at both prestigious shows.

In 2006, the purebred herd was dispersed, and the operation transitioned to a commercial cowherd. It was during this time that Glenn also began his career as a livestock sales manager. While raising his two sons, Riley and Ryan, Glenn spent a decade coaching minor baseball. Both boys finished their minor baseball careers as AAA Provincial Champions and proudly represented their teams at the National Championships. Those years were filled with long days and rewarding challenges, balancing the demands of farming, coaching, and building relationships throughout the cattle industry.

In 2024, the commercial cowherd was dispersed, and today Glenn and Riley farm together, focusing on hay and grain production while continuing the family’s agricultural tradition.

Glenn is excited to join Atlas Livestock Marketing, bringing a lifetime of experience that spans registered seedstock production, commercial cattle operations, and livestock marketing. Above all, he values the relationships built within the cattle industry and looks forward to helping producers successfully market their cattle while continuing to earn their trust.
