Glenn was raised on a family farm with a deep passion for Simmental cattle. As the second-generation owner of Norton Simmentals (CSA #4974), he operated a respected purebred Simmental program for more than 25 years with his father, Neil. During that time, Glenn exhibited cattle at Farmfair International and Canadian Western Agribition, earning numerous champion titles at both prestigious shows.
In 2006, the purebred herd was dispersed, and the operation transitioned to a commercial cowherd. It was during this time that Glenn also began his career as a livestock sales manager. While raising his two sons, Riley and Ryan, Glenn spent a decade coaching minor baseball. Both boys finished their minor baseball careers as AAA Provincial Champions and proudly represented their teams at the National Championships. Those years were filled with long days and rewarding challenges, balancing the demands of farming, coaching, and building relationships throughout the cattle industry.
In 2024, the commercial cowherd was dispersed, and today Glenn and Riley farm together, focusing on hay and grain production while continuing the family’s agricultural tradition.
Glenn is excited to join Atlas Livestock Marketing, bringing a lifetime of experience that spans registered seedstock production, commercial cattle operations, and livestock marketing. Above all, he values the relationships built within the cattle industry and looks forward to helping producers successfully market their cattle while continuing to earn their trust.
